Cooking Classes
Christina is a registered dietitian with over 15 years of experience and a skilled, passionate cooking instructor. She has been teaching cooking classes for both children and adults for close to a decade, beginning her career while still a student, working in grocery store–based cooking schools.
As a mom of three, Christina understands firsthand the joys and challenges of family mealtimes, picky eating, and getting kids involved in the kitchen. She brings this personal experience, along with her expertise in nutrition and cooking, to create practical, approachable strategies that make healthy eating enjoyable for the whole family.
Her children’s cooking and baking workshops are designed to help kids build real-life cooking skills and confidence in the kitchen. Christina emphasizes a balanced approach to healthy eating—one that includes enjoying a wide variety of foods and fostering a positive relationship with food.
Her classes provide a supportive, low-pressure environment where children can safely explore new foods, express creativity, and develop skills that last a lifetime. This approach can be especially helpful for picky eaters, encouraging them to be more open and curious while making cooking fun and engaging.

Parent and Child Hands-on Baking Class
Cost: $69.95 per child
Time: 10:30-11:45AM
Join us for a fun-filled morning of baking, learning, and connection! In this hands-on parent and child class, young bakers will build confidence in the kitchen while practicing real-life skills such as mixing, mashing, kneading dough, and assembling simple recipes from scratch.
Together, you’ll make homemade yogurt bagels, prepare a fresh strawberry chia jam using sweet, in-season Ontario strawberries*, and create a delicious yogurt parfait to enjoy during class (also featuring fresh, Ontario strawberries). Children will have the opportunity to explore ingredients (including seasonal produce), develop fine motor skills, and experience the joy and sense of accomplishment of creating food with their own hands.
This class is designed for children ages 3–6 and their grown-up, with a focus on meaningful connection, teamwork, and building early kitchen confidence in a supportive environment.
Each child will take home their freshly baked bagels and a jar of homemade strawberry chia jam to enjoy later.
No baking experience needed—just come ready to learn, create, and have fun!
Location: 1970 Avenue Road (hosting in the upstairs area of The Rolling Pin Bakery).
*The plan is to use Ontario strawberries, as they are generally in season by the end of June. If they are not available, a substitution will be used.
