Hands-On Italian Pasta Making Workshop: A Kids’ Cooking Experience (Ages 7+)

Give your child the opportunity to step into the kitchen and experience the joy of Italian cooking! In this hands-on workshop led by a registered dietitian, children will learn real cooking skills while creating a delicious Italian meal from scratch.

Young chefs will explore the traditions of Italian cuisine, build confidence in the kitchen, and enjoy a fun, interactive cooking experience with other food-loving kids.

What We’ll Make:

Fresh Homemade Pasta
Children will learn how to prepare pasta dough from scratch, knead and shape their own pasta, and discover the basics of traditional Italian pasta making.

Italian Meatballs with Tomato Sauce
While the pasta dough rests, kids will prepare homemade meatballs and add them to a classic tomato sauce to create a delicious meal. They will also prepare a simple salad.

Italian Cookies
Children will bake Italian-inspired cookies and decorate them with a glaze and colourful sprinkles.

During the Workshop:

•  Hands-on cooking from start to finish
•  Learn kitchen skills, food preparation techniques and food safety
•  Explore Italian food traditions
•  Enjoy the meal they created together
•  Take home leftovers and decorated cookies to share with family

At the end of the workshop, children will sit down together to enjoy their handmade pasta and meatballs. Each child will bring a selection of their decorated cookies.
